Crystals in divination

Crystals and gemstones are well-known for their use in healing and meditation but it is also possible to divine with them. One way is through the use of a crystal ball as in scrying but they can also be used in much the way you could toss a charm, rune or a cowrie shell. See my dictionary below where I have been gathering meanings from various sources for many years.

What is lithomancy?

Lithomancy is a form of divination using crystals or gemstones. It can be quite a complex system to learn initially. Stones are generally cast into a circle on a board and are read in patterns and correspond to symbolism of the planets and cover different areas of the querent’s life such as personal, financial, home life etc.
